The most common type of sprinkler system. Engages immediately when fire activates the sprinkler head, releasing water held in the pipe. Covers only the area where the fire is present. Ideal for climate-controlled environments including commercial, industrial, offices, apartments, residential, health care, educational, and retail properties.
A dry pipe sprinkler system engages immediately when fire activates the sprinkler head, releasing pressurized air or nitrogen held in the pipe, followed by water. Discharges only in the area where the fire is present. Ideal for areas susceptible to freezing (less than 40 degrees F), such as parking garages, loading docks, attics, and refrigerated spaces.
Operates as dry sprinkler system with the addition of electronic detection and release requirements. Smoke, heat and flame detectors, or a manual control switch, along with sprinkler head activation, control the release of water into the pipes to extinguish a fire. Requires both electronic and pneumatic activation. Ideal for protecting high-value asset rooms such as data centers, museums, MRI rooms, telecom rooms, and refrigerated rack storage.
A deluge fire sprinkler system delivers massive amounts of water over the entire hazard area. Features unpressurized dry piping and open sprinkler heads connected directly to a water supply system. Activated by a heat or smoke detection system. Ideal for high-hazard areas such as power plants, aircraft
hangars, and chemical plants.
LVC installs and maintains electric and diesel pumps that deliver adequate water supplies to extinguish fire when sufficient water and pressure is not provided by the municipal water source.
Nitrogen systems prevent corrosion inside sprinkler pipes by replacing oxygen with nitrogen. Nitrogen can be either stored or generated on site. Either way, incorporating nitrogen into your building’s sprinkler system will push out oxygen, prevent corrosion, and prolong the life of your system. Beneficial in wet and dry sprinkler systems.
Provide a water supply source for the duration of a sprinkler system discharge when no municipal water is available. Can be located above or below ground.
