LVC Companies Climbs to No. 21 in SDM’s 2026 Top Systems Integrators Rankings

LVC Companies has risen to No. 21 in the SDM Magazine’s annual Top Systems Integrators Report, climbing three spots from No. 24 in last year’s prestigious industry rankings. Published annually since 1996, the report is one of the industry’s most respected benchmarks.

The 2026 rankings recognize North American systems integration companies based on 2025 security systems integration revenue. LVC posted more than $81.6 million in systems integration revenue and 1,630 new projects in 2025, serving a wide variety of markets including government, industrial, education, commercial, and healthcare sectors.

SDM defines security system integration projects as including solutions such as design, project management, product, installation, programming, start-up, training and time-and-materials-based services sold directly to an end-user customer or through a tier of contractors.

It included revenue related to security technologies such as access control, ID/badging, video surveillance/analytics, intrusion alarms, perimeter security, electronic gate entry, intercom/communications, fire protection, IT/networks, etc. It does not include recurring monthly revenue (RMR), which was counted toward the SDM 100. LVC also ranked within the top 100 North American companies on this list as well.

“Moving up in the SDM rankings is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the hard work of every member of the LVC team,” said Bert Bongard, President and CEO of LVC Companies. “Our success is built on long-term relationships with our customers, outstanding vendor partnerships, and employees who are committed to delivering exceptional service every day. We are grateful for the trust our customers place in us and remain focused on helping them protect what matters most.”

Companies are ranked according to their North American systems integration revenue generated from the design, engineering, installation, programming, project management, startup, training and service of electronic security systems. The rankings exclude recurring monthly revenue (RMR), which is measured separately in SDM’s annual Top 100 Report.

LVC’s continued climb in the rankings reflects sustained investment across our core technology disciplines, including: fire alarm and life safety systems, fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems, video surveillance solutions, access control systems, structured cabling and network infrastructure, audiovisual (AV) and communications systems, and national security and structured cabling-communications service and multi-site support.

Serving customers throughout Minnesota, western Wisconsin, Arizona, and across the United States with our National Services Division, LVC partners with organizations in healthcare, education, government, manufacturing, commercial real estate, transportation, utilities and many other critical industries.

“Our integrated approach allows customers to work with a single trusted provider for the design, installation and long-term service of their life safety, fire protection and security technologies,” said Mike Botten, LVC Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “This latest recognition adds to LVC’s long history of national industry honors, including repeated appearances in SDM’s rankings, recognition as an SDM Integrator of the Year, numerous manufacturer awards and industry certifications that demonstrate our commitment to technical excellence and customer satisfaction.”

Botten noted that LVC’s new projects in 2025 serve customers and needs of all sizes and scopes, ranging from $1,500 to more than $2.5 million in scope. “Security enhancements to a suite of seven student residential dormitories at the University of Minnesota are a prime example of our integrated capabilities,” he said. “We provided a turnkey solution for the addition of optical turnstiles, additions to access control and video surveillance systems, emergency communications intercom systems, and modifications to the existing fire alarms system.”

As technology continues to evolve—with greater adoption of cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and connected fire, life safety and security systems—LVC remains committed to helping customers navigate these innovations with practical, reliable solutions backed by industry leading expertise and exceptional service.

“We thank our employees, customers and industry partners for making this achievement possible,” said Bongard. “Together, we’re continuing to build safer, smarter, and more secure facilities across the communities we serve.”
