LVC Companies is proud to announce that donations from its 2023 holiday fundraiser benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) totaled $23,400. The funds will help the organization provide lodging, meals, and more to families with seriously ill children seeking medical care away from home.
The total included LVC employee contributions and matching funds from LVC Companies and Luther Bloomington Acura Subaru through RMHC’s Give to the Max Campaign.
The donations continue a longstanding tradition for LVC President and CEO Bert Bongard, who marks his 25th year of Christmastime donations to RMHC.
“My LVC family and I are honored to support Ronald McDonald House’s mission of providing hope and healing for families facing extremely difficult and challenging situations,” said Bongard. “We also thank Luther Auto for their generous contribution, which further increased the impact of our holiday giving.”
“The RMHC mission is not possible without community support. Partners who incorporate giving into their employee platforms and do it with a generous match are absolutely best in class. The two-to one matching strategy executed by LVC in partnership with Luther Automotive is so impactful. Our sincere thanks to the entire team for pushing our important work for families with sick kids forward. We are so grateful,” said Jill Evenocheck, RMHC Upper Midwest CEO and President.
Worldwide, RMHC provides more than 2.2 million overnight stays each year, helping families more than $611 million in lodging and meal expenses.
