LVC Companies is honored to once again support Ronald McDonald House Charities’ (RMHC) mission of hope and healing.
For the 2022 holiday season, LVC employee donations and matching funds from LVC and Luther Bloomington Acura Subaru yielded more than $22,500 in gifts for families visiting RMHC locations.
The tally included $6,520 in internal donations from LVC staff, $6,250 in LVC Company matching funds, and another $9,500 in matching funds from Luther through their support of RMHC’s Give to the Max campaign.
The donations continue a longstanding tradition for LVC President and CEO Bert Bongard, who marks his 24th year of Christmastime donations to RMHC. “I’m proud, along with my LVC family, to help Ronald McDonald House make a difference for the families during such difficult and challenging situations,” said Bongard. “And we thank Luther Auto for their generous contribution, which further increased the impact of our holiday giving.”
“LVC Companies’ support means the world to our organization,” said Amy Ament, chief operating officer of Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest. “The impact for families facing a child’s medical crisis is heartwarming. LVC Companies and CEO Bert Bongard’s tradition of philanthropy ensures lodging, meals, respite and supportive services can go unmatched, all at no cost to the caregivers who need us more than ever. We are grateful to be a charity of choice for such generosity. Thank you!”
